We Owe Our Engagement to 东航

When someone thinks of studying abroad, the usual thought process is: "I'll have an amazing experience, put things on my résumé, and come home with great stories." Both Mason and I left to 法国 in January of 2011 (from two different states, MN and TX) with the same mentality. While we both knew that studying abroad was already a great choice, we had no idea that we would end up engaged in 2017. Opening ourselves to a new experience in a new country, being willing to experience a new culture and new relationships, was the best decision either of us could have made. We met in Antibes, quickly became close friends, began a long distance relationship. 现在 here we are-planning a wedding 6 years later. 东航 was the only program that both of us found that would allow us to pursue our goals (Chemistry for me, 梅森的生意), and for that we will always be grateful.
